I've a few articles on the net claiming or speculating that the manna in the Bible are psychoactive mushrooms. The example used most frequently in an attempt to prove this is the manna the israelites ate in the wilderness. Many of the points I've read are very logical and convincing. JamesArthur.net is a good site on this subject. I was just wondering if any one had any first hand knowledge on the topic or if anyone had any thing to say about it.

I have heard of this, and heard about several books written about it, but do not know enough about it to really comment. Interesting speculation, but it seems it's still speculation nonetheless.
